Summary: Intended as an anatomical study of the parotid gland and facial nerve using fresh cadaver material for demonstration. The author demonstrates the anatomy of this area with particular reference to nerves, blood vessels, and other structures encountered in the removal of the parotid gland. Preservation of facial expression is emphasized.
