Elmer Lee Cardey was born January 16, 1884 in Cassville, Wisconsin and died July 13, 1973 in Deer Park, California. At the time of the 1946 General Conference Session, he was the director of the Voice of Prophecy. Cardey's obituary was published in the Review and Herald, October 25, 1973, p. 23.
